Detail Itinerary (11 Nights - 12 Days)
Day 01 : Arrive - Delhi
On arrival meet our representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
In the morning board Shatabdi Express for Haridwar at 0600 hrs. Arrive Haridwar and meet our tour Guide. One of the seven holy cities of Hinduism. The train journey takes about 5 1/2 hours. Legend has it that Vishnu's footprint was found on the bank of the holy river Ganges, giving it it's sanctity. Situated at the base of the Shivalik Hills, Haridwar is where the River Ganga (Ganges) passes through the last mountains and begins its 2,000 km journey across the plains of India, finally terminating at the the Bay of Bengal. The route of this life giving river (called Maa Ganga or Mother Ganges) is home to one of the most ancient civilizations in the world (other examples being the Indus river, and the Nile) in the Gangetic plains On arrival at Haridwar one must visit the town's 'steps' or 'Ghats' on the banks of the Ganges constructed for the convenience of the thousands who throng to the banks to offer prayers and dip in the sacred Ganges.. Haridwar is the gateway for pilgrims to the Hindu shrines at Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri further up in the mountains. So important are these destinations, that the desire and sacred duty of every Hindu is to visit these sacred shrines before his/ her demise, in order to attain salvation.
It is in this place that an event unlike any other in the world takes place-The Kumbh Mela (The biggest congregation of humans in the world)
From here it is a drive of 45 minutes that gets one to Rishikesh by road, In the evening visit the Ganga river bank for the spectacular and moving Aarti- spectacle of sights, sounds and chanting.. Rishikesh is well known for its scenic beauty and the spiritual experience. Flanked by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas. It is fabled that when Raibhya Rishi penance hard, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and this area thereafter came to be known as Rishikesh (Locks of the sage). Overnight in hotel.

Day 03 : Rishikesh - Joshimath
After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Overnight in guest house.
Day 04 : Joshimath - Auli
After breakfast drive to Auli, One of the best ski resort in the country famous for its ropeway connection from Joshimat. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Auli - Gorson
After breakfast trek to Gorson Bugyal a picturesque high altitude grassland known for its scenic views and unending rolling meadows and wild flowers –( 03 kms / one way) it is a very relaxing trek with altitudes ranging from 2591mts to 3049 meters and one gets to see many Himalayan peaks during the trek. Dinner & overnight stay in tents.
Day 06 : Gorson - Tali (9 kms/5-6 hrs)
An early start is essential, in order to get a magnificent view at the pass. The trail from Dhakwani continues to climb through the forest until one crosses the tree line. From this point on, the path traverses to the left of the valley just under the pass and continues with a series of switch backs leading straight to the pass.One can take out time to, relax and enjoy photography at the pass.
The trail from the pass ascends till one reaches the top . Excellent views of Dronagiri peak are visible from this point. Thereafter, the trail descends to a point with a bifurcation to Tapovan & Tali. If one continue on the trail to Tali one reaches a ridge with a temple and prayer flags. The great Nanda Devi peak comes into view from here. The trail goes past pastures and enters a forest eventually leading to the campsite at Tali. Overnight in tents.
Day 07 : Tali - Kuaripass base
Trekking along the ridge, the trail ascends to the ridge above Tali. Just below the pass, the trail leads through a large meadow affording spectacular views of the Himalayas. North of Joshimath is the Chaukhamba range, Nilkanth (6596m) and Narayan Parbat (5965m), while Mana peak (7272m),Kamet (7756m) and Abi Gamin (7355m) extend to the Tibetan border. In the middle foreground, the main Himalayan chain in the vicinity of the Bhyundar valley and Hem Kund includes Nilgiri Parbat (6474m), Rataban (6166m), Ghori Parbat (6708m) and Hathi Parbat (6727m). Dunagairi (7066m) dominates the peaks to the north of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The Kuaripass (3840m) is by no means demanding – one must have lunch here and then descent an hour to the base camp at Khulara.
Day 08 : Kuaripass base-Kuaripass - Khulara
The Kuaripass trek is also known as Curzon trail is the dividing line between the central and the greater Himalayas with view of snow clad towering peaks is a feast for the eyes.
Day 09 : Khulara-Tapovan-Joshimath High Point-Kuari Pass Trek
The last day of the trek is a leisurely walk, all the way down to Tapovan. It is approximately 1 hours drive from here to the comforts of the hotel in Joshimath.
Day 10 : Joshimath - Rishikesh
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Lunch en route on arrival at Rishikesh. Hotel check in. Evening free to explore the bustling market place, and buy local souvenirs ! Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 11 : Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. In the evening transfer to Hardwar station in time to board the train for Delhi. On arrival at the station transfer to the hotel. O/N stay at Hotel.
Day 12 : Delhi- Departure
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi. In the evening transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for your onward journey.
